STATUS: The docket has returned for review with the exceptions and unresolved objections attached. The current rule remains in force at the lower archive’s map room.

RECORD: The sealed flood map, the copy register and the mapmaker’s loose notes. This file counts 47 marked waterways compared with the modern survey; the prior count was 51.

DISPUTE: The mapmaker’s notes were added decades later; the archive has not found a matching field survey.

WHY IT MATTERS: The decision concerns whether the old route is evidence of a lost spill channel or simply a copyist’s correction mark. The current count does not settle how the rule should allocate the cost.

NEXT: The archive will publish a high-resolution copy with each later mark dated separately. The clerk has marked the file FLOOD-MAP-25 for the next public review.
