The latest file on the grain market records that a public vote has approved a narrow change while leaving the larger question open. The existing rule remains in force; officials have not announced a permanent change.

Nella Voss, grain measure on the morning exchange, said the latest file records 14 sacks weighed before the first bell, compared with 12 in the previous count. The figures cover the entries on the register, not every condition at the site.

Merchants cite fewer sacks at the gate; carriers say several loads waited below the cliff lift overnight. The current record does not settle that disagreement. At the latest public table, residents asked the clerk to keep their account beside the source count. No final finding has been issued.

Nima Thol checked the market scale book and the merchants’ sealed delivery chits against the field notes. The method is to put the posted price beside the amount that actually changed hands; it confirms the entries, but not every interpretation attached to them. The docket is marked GRAIN-MARKET-04, and the next check is assigned to a second crew.

The market clerk will publish weights from the gate and the hall on the same day. Until that check is complete, the schedule already in force continues to govern.
