The public account of the ridge caravan relies on the gate manifest and the signal log from the ridge watch. A review of that source and the field notes finds a specific limit: the count can be repeated, but it does not include a white route marker visible from the last switchback below the gate.
Varda Kin checked the gate manifest and the signal log from the ridge watch against the field notes. The method is to trace the route from the first signal to the final gate receipt; it confirms the entries, but not every interpretation attached to them. The comparison covers 52 caravan loads checked before the cloud stair opens; 52 appear in the prior file. No signed correction to either entry was present when this review closed.
Varda Kin, road clerk on the east ascent, said the source register was complete for its stated purpose. The office has not provided a separate measure for whether the ridge road can reopen to ordinary freight before the late snow has cleared the outer turn, so the public record cannot yet show which account is more representative.
The watch sees a passable surface from the wall; carriers report that the shaded turn remains slick under a loaded cart. The current record does not settle that disagreement. This report does not establish that either side misstated the evidence. It establishes that the published total is narrower than the conclusion being drawn from it.
A new complaint or proposal has been entered under a dated docket. The entry belongs to the public comment file at the East Ridge gate above the cloud stair. The road crew will post separate clearance times for foot traffic and freight. The next file should preserve the original entries and explain any change in method.
