The latest file on the shared cistern lease records that a public vote has approved a narrow change while leaving the larger question open. The existing rule remains in force; officials have not announced a permanent change.
Toma Vesh, tenant delegate for the Lantern Stair rooms, said the latest file records 12 leases that name a shared repair duty, compared with 12 in the previous count. The figures cover the entries on the register, not every condition at the site.
The landlord cites a customary duty; residents say a custom cannot replace a written amount. The current record does not settle that disagreement. At the latest public table, residents asked the clerk to keep their account beside the source count. No final finding has been issued.
Eni Ved checked the lease copies and the cistern maintenance ledger against the field notes. The method is to ask who can use a service without an interpreter, sponsor or spare hour; it confirms the entries, but not every interpretation attached to them. The docket is marked SHARED-CISTERN-LEASE-23, and the next check is assigned to a second crew.
The housing clerk will compare the disputed clause with the signed copies held by both sides. Until that check is complete, the schedule already in force continues to govern.
