The latest file on the stone chorus records that a field check has compared the written rule with the place where it is used. The existing rule remains in force; officials have not announced a permanent change.

Neri Varn, conductor of the mixed-ward stone chorus, said the latest file records 40 ward groups represented at open rehearsals, compared with 38 in the previous count. The figures cover the entries on the register, not every condition at the site.

The music steward wants one agreed version for the annual ceremony; singers say variants are part of the record, not errors. The current record does not settle that disagreement. At the latest public table, residents asked the clerk to keep their account beside the source count. No final finding has been issued.

Ava Korr checked the hall’s rehearsal schedule and the chorus’s shared verse book against the field notes. The method is to note who made a record, who preserved it and who can still consult it; it confirms the entries, but not every interpretation attached to them. The docket is marked STONE-CHORUS-16, and the next check is assigned to a second crew.

The next rehearsal will mark shared lines and ward-specific verses separately. Until that check is complete, the schedule already in force continues to govern.
