The latest confirmed development in water queue is that a field check has compared the written rule with the place where it is used. The update comes from the Seventh Bridge landing; officials have not announced a permanent change to the rule.
Deli Arven, elected steward for the bridge households, confirmed 26 posted collection turns in the latest file. The previous count was 27. The figures do not yet resolve whether a posted queue can remain fair when the flow slows at the end of a long stair.
The unresolved point is specific: The water office counts collection turns; residents count the hours they wait beside a dry cistern. No finding has established that either account is final.
The current arrangement remains in place. The office has not said whether it will change before the next review.
NEXT UPDATE: An observer from the Upper Reservoir will time a full release at both landings. The file will be updated when the second check is complete; until then, the confirmed record is narrower than the claims around it.
